Treadmill Factory—Supplying Motorized And Manual Treadmills

Tagged as: , ,

When you decide to purchase WILD treadmill equipments, one of the first questions they ask is鈥滵o I want a motorized or manual treadmill ?鈥 This article tell us the difference between them and their disadvantages and advantages.

When purchasing a treadmill it is natural to consider  whether to  opt for a motorized  or a manual treadmill. The basic difference is that in a manual (or non-motorized treadmill ) one pushes the belt with the feet. The force of the feet against the treadmill moves the belt. On the other hand, in a motorized treadmill one has to keep pace as the treadmill motor moves the belt for you at a pace that is set electronically.

WILD treadmill factory has motorized treadmills and manual treadmills. But most are motorized treadmill. Such as Home Treadmill W65sM, Home Treadmill W15T ,home treadmill-688 etc. Especially, WILD treadmill factory has two megnetic treadmills, like OTD-1800-M1D and OTD-1800-M2D .

The pros and cons or advantages and disadvantages of motorized and manual treadmills are as follows:

Manual treadmills are somewhat cheaper since they do not contain a motor. As a result, they are cheaper than motorized tredamills .Manual treadmills are smaller and lighter in weight. They take up less storage space, and are easier to move. A motor by itself can be bulky and adds to the weight of the treadmill.

Some people believe that manual treadmills burn more calories than motorized treadmills. This is probably because the user supplies the power or the energy to move the treadmill belt. However, this line of thought cannot be scientifically validated. This is because when the user supplies the power or the energy, unless the user is in good athletic shape, the user will also tend to move slower and get tired more easily. This actually can result in lesser calories being burnt on a home treadmill.

Motorized treadmills are somewhat more expensive and their prices can range from $800 to as much as $8,000. They usually last longer, are sturdier in built and can withstand heavy use. Besides, since the belt moves for the user at varying speeds, this provides motivation to keep up and in reality results in greater calories being burnt in comparison to a home treadmill.

In a motorized treadmill, the speed and the incline can be easily adjusted with the user still on the runing machine. This provides convenience and eliminates strain on joints. A final advantage to the motorized treadmill  is that they tend to have more features and options such as iFit compatibility, built-in workout programs and scrolling information consoles. These features make workouts more interesting and even enjoyable as you can watch your progress. This means that you will probably USE the treadmill more often which again results in more calories burned and a better body achieved. Users tend to workout more often and are able to obtain greater benefits from their workouts.

Unless you鈥檙e in extremely good physical shape, a manual treadmill is not recommended. Choose a motorized treadmill for maximum calorie burning and exercise convenience.

The biggest motivation to choose a manual treadmill is the low cost. However, you can find a quality motorized treadmill for a relatively low cost if you know where to look.

Regardless of what you choose fitness treadmill remember to have fun and commit yourself to a better, healthier you!
